What personal data we collect
Contact form. When you submit an enquiry through our contact form we collect your name, email address, distillery/company name, country, subject and the message you send us. This data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is stored in our contact database and sent by email to our sales team.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website (pages visited, time on site, general location, device type). Google Analytics uses cookies for this purpose; these cookies are only set once you have given consent via our cookie banner. IP addresses are anonymised by default on our Google Analytics (GA4) property. See our Cookie Policy for the full list of cookies used.
Fonts. Our website loads typefaces from Google Fonts, which may involve your browser connecting to Google’s servers.
Legal basis and purpose of processing
We process contact form data on the basis of our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and analytics data on the basis of your consent, given via our cookie consent banner. You may withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time by using the “Cookie Policy” link in the footer of this website.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers who help us run this website and respond to enquiries, specifically: our website hosting provider, our email delivery provider (for contact form notifications), and Google (Google Analytics, Google Site Kit, Google Search Console), under Google’s own data processing terms. Where we have a choice, we configure these services to restrict use of your data for any purpose beyond providing the service to us.
How long we keep your data
Contact form submissions are retained for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and are deleted when no longer needed. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics’ standard retention settings.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure of your data; restrict or object to our processing of your data; and request a copy of your data in a portable format.
